Hare Krishna School - Bronze & Silver Training Day - [Tramping]

This Bronze & Silver Training Day is an introduction to overnight camping and tramping. 

Students will learn:

• How to plan and prepare for an overnight tramp

• Essential group management and safety principles, and basic first aid practices

• Appropriate gear selection and packing tips for efficiency and comfort

• Basic maps and compass knowledge

• How and where to set up a tent for camping 

• Campcraft fundamentals, including cooking and campsite management

• Environmental care through Leave No Trace principles

Students need a raincoat and food for the day but do not need to bring all their tramping equipment. If you would like any equipment checked, you are strongly encouraged to bring it along on the day.
