This Bronze & Silver Practice Journey is an introduction to overnight camping and tramping, with a focus on developing outdoor skills and exploring a local bush environment. While there will be some walking, the emphasis is on learning navigation, campsite setup, and practical tramping skills rather than covering long distances.
This is a 2 day and 1 night tramping and camping event with 6 hours of activity per day. You will need to carry all your own clothing, food, gear, tent, etc.
You must plan and bring your own food. We will send a menu ideas document to help you plan.
Free transport is provided from our base in Avondale.
Important: You must have completed a Training Day before undertaking this Journey.
